Static Jack: A WordPress Plugin
Static Jack is a neat little plugin that makes it incredibly easy to add static content to a WordPress 1.5.1.2+ powered website and have the static content automagically wrapped in the blog skin, theme, or template… depending on your lexicon of choice.
Installing and using it is simple. Just read the well documented readme.txt file and you’ll have it up and running in no time.
The only real requirement is that you are using permalinks on your site. Since the vast majority of folks using WordPress use permalinks, this shouldn’t be too much of a hurdle. Still, for those who don’t have mod_rewrite (or the comparable server setup for IIS) I do apologize. Perhaps version 2.0 will have what you need.
Example
Here’s a quick example of a file I uploaded with the name asdf.php
The link to it is here:

A small request
I hope you find my code immensely useful.
If you do, could you do me the favor of linking to my site (this page perhaps).
