You saved me from a lot of merging older things into my blog. this is what I've been looking for for a while. One question: Is there a way to enable the plugin to recognize subdirectories within the static directory? I have been doing my static pages using skel templates. They have the loop in it with my new code. This works, but I like your idea, way better. I have created so many pages in my theme dir; can't tell you how many times at four in the morning I edited the wrong page. I like having them all isolated in a different dir. I just downloaded the Safeinclude plugin and saw the "Don't Bother Me" comments in the readme file. Sorry for the previous "help request" post.
